Make a Big Impact With a Future Gift
An endowment gift provides a source of current and future funding to WQED Multimedia. Endowment donations are invested according to WQED's Investment Policy and a portion of the endowment is distributed annually to support WQED's needs.
Endowment gifts may be structured as restricted or unrestricted funds. Distributions from restricted funds are spent to support the designated purpose of the fund. Unrestricted gifts are flexible and are used to address immediate needs at WQED.
When you make a donation to WQED's endowment, you give the gift of financial stability to the organization.Watch How It Works

An Example of How It Works
Longtime supporters Susan and Charlie have two goals: First, they want to make sure WQED continues to receive support after they're gone. Second, they want to memorialize Charlie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
Susan and Charlie make a $25,000 endowment gift to WQED, which we invest, and each year, a portion of the income from the invested money will be used to support our mission in honor of the Joneses. Plus, Susan and Charlie qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction on their taxes.
Gifts That Pay
Your payments depend on your age at the time of the donation. If you are younger than 60, we recommend that you learn more about your options and download this FREE guide Plan for Retirement With a Deferred Gift Annuity.
